Here is a small collection of interesting and free videos to the subjects of ASCII art, ANSI art and text art in general as well as about BBS (Bulletin Board Systems) and some Demoscene, Artscene, Warezscene and Superior Art Creations (SAC).
I also have tons of videos available on video sharing sites like YouTube.com. See my YouTube channel "SACReleases" for example.

I also show a few good examples of ASCII animation, what is called ASCIImation. I cases like the ones I show, is the text art created via specialized software, which converts video imagery to text characters.
More videos will come in the future, which are more specific to SAC, including videos of SACtros (which are already available) and Cracktros created by the artgroup throughout the years (currently only available (for the most part) at my YouTube channel, but I want to bring them directly on to my site, like the SACtro videos).

Note to List of Videos on This Page
Oh, there is another thing that I want to mention. The thumbnails of the videos down on this page are actually static and not embedded players. You will be taken to the video sharing site, If you click on any of the thumbs. I did not embed the videos, because it slowed down the page too much and even caused problems sometimes. Too much AJAX and JavaScript for the browser to handle I guess hehe.

Creature of Hell/SAC - The Movie
Experimental two minutes clip by Creature of Hell, also known for his great ASCII art and his signature CH/SAC.

The graphics was created in 2000 and the video was a Compleks production from the Summer 2001. This is pre-YouTube stuff, so don't expect fancy video effects. It's nice though.

Jason Scott who produced the DVD documentary "BBS - The Documentary" released it under the Creative Commons Licence attribution Share-Alike, which means that it is free to copy and to show in public.
He made the complete material for the documentation available to the public at archive.org (free). Here is a link to the list of the individual interviews, also the ones that did not make it on to the three DVDs.
The content of the DVD is also available on Google Video (also free). Another Jason published it there, perfectly legal, because that is what the Creative Commons licensing is all about, the permission for free replication and broadcasting for non-commercial/educational purposes. He still would appreciate it, if you would buy a copy of the DVD, to demonstrate your support for this and similar projects (he has a lot more stuff he could make a documentary about), of course only, if you like it.
