This intro was a design concept for a the SACtro or Intro for the Superior Art Creations (SAC) retro Art Pack release. It was not included in the pack release though, because the pack turned out to be something different than a retro/reunion/rememberance pack release. It's still a nice concept, but not appropriate for what the actual pack release represents. To learn more about this story, check out this blog post of mine from January 23, 2010.

I tried to keep the look and feel of the design in retro-comic style, something different and unique, which means also risky. However, I hope that it will please the few folks who bother to watch the intro to begin with. The monkey on the right represents any SAC member. Always cool, going with the natural flow of things, unlike the monkey on the left side, who is trying like a maniac to stay in the middle of where things are happening. SAC members always worked independent, except for intro/cracktro projects that required colaboration by multiple group members. They decided for themselves, what art they create and for whom. The reason for this is the fact that SAC created artwork for free on a voluntary basis, without asking for anything in return. SAC provided an outlet for distributing and promoting art created by the individual artists and stands for a high level of quality.

The tune for the intro is a modified version of the ultra-classic .MOD called "Coloris", one of my all-time favorites, who's true origins eluded me for almost two decades.
