Version 1.0 Notes (In part also for V2.0)

The name for this demo "Doomsday Afternoon" was derived from the Al Pacino movie "Dogday Afternoon". The tune by Fabian was heavily modified to have the right length for my needs in my demo. I also added the explosion sample to this tune, which increased its file size from just 8KB to over 500KB hehe.

The Skeleton represents "Death", who is "jogging" to the city, which is unknown to the viewer at first. He is then surpassed by two nukes and trying to "keep up" with them to not "miss the party" that follows shortly afterwards, when the demo logo was shown.

The design of the end part was actually a possible intro or cracktro design and I might use it as such one day in the future. In fact I created a bunch of effects that I used in various of my demos which are great for the use in crack intros. Some of them were even derived from PC or Commodore Amiga cracktros themselves.

Version 2.0 Notes

I wasn't all too happy with version one of the demo, so I decided to give it an overhaul and created version 2.0. You will notice a lot of changes, but the overall theme remained the same. Most noticable is probably the removal of the tune by Fabian, which I had modified heavily for version 1.0. That was probably the part I was most unhappy with, but there were also other parts so I took it from there and tweaked it all around.
