Welcome to the SACtros, the intros that were created specifically to accompany a new Superior Art Creations art pack release.

Click on the image of each SACtro and watch the videos right here on the site. Information to each intro are shown to the right of each image. Also included are links to download each video, plus download links to for the original SAC Pack file, where you can find the original executable for MS DOS. In addition to that are also links to the used resources like tracker modules for the music and logo graphics available for download, where I had it available or able to rip from the executables. All videos are available in .AVI or .WMV format at Mediafire.com for download. You can access all of them via this link.

Only 1/3 of all SAC artpacks had an intro included. Most of the 13 intros were released with the very first art packs. Except for one, do all packs during the first two years of SAC had an intro. This is unfortunate, but it is hard to create intros for creacking groups or bulletin boards, which were used over and over again and seen by many people and then find the time to do the same great job for an intro that is only being used once, for a single art pack. Okay, we did re-use an entire intro without code, graphics or music changes once, but that was an exception.

Cheers! and Enjoy! Carsten aka Roy/SAC

Thanks to Ben Garett from Defacto2 for capturing the video for me. The intro is Dream Design's first intro on the PC. He also did the graphics. The music was done by Argon (later Argon Factor) who was not a SAC member at the time, but joined the group later.

SAC Art PackSAC Pack File SAC0395.ZIP DL (See Pack #2 Info)
NotesOS: DOS, File: SAC1995!.exe, Size: 15555 Bytes, Date: 34789

The reason for the version A addition to the number is the existence of TWO SACtros for artpack vol.2. The second intro was coded by Dream Design/SAC, which I am unable to get to work. This version was coded by Hetero/SAC and is a very basic intro. An enhanced version of this intro was even used for SACtro #5 and #10.

This is the first intro ever coded on the PC by our new member Grap. He was already a coder on the Amiga 500 for the group Remedy. Dream Design and Acen were also members of Remedy and the BBS of one of Remedy's founders, Ramses, became also a SAC headquarter at one time. The name of the BBS was Uphold the Law.

Due to 'budget constrains' was it necessary to recycle some dream design artwork for this intro and cut down on the visual effects. The music also had to be borrowed from our friends at TRSI.

SAC Art PackSAC Pack File sac-32.zip DL (See Pack #32 Info)
NotesOS: WIN, File: sac10yrs.exe, Size: 37888 Bytes, Date: 38350

This SACtro from 2005 was for the 10th anniversary of the group. The intro was written for Win32 machines, so you can download and run the original intro, if you have a PC with Windows. The video uses the MOD release version of the XM-module by Svenzzon. You will notice that it is slightly different from the MOD used in this intro. I did not have the version used for the SACtro and was unable to decompress the executable to rip the XM mod file out of it.
